2026 Update: Trial Offers Change Often, Check Before You Sign Up

Free trials and free plans in this niche change frequently, so treat every offer below as a starting point, not a promise. One claim still checks out: the iKeyMonitor free plan is still listed on its official site in October 2026, although the official FAQ says the free plan only covers call history, SMS logs and GPS location, and only keeps the last three days of data. Norton Family still offers trials, but the trial length and whether a card is required vary by country and promotion, so the 30-day figure below may differ at checkout. FamiSafe and Qustodio trial and free-plan terms also change with app store promotions. Always confirm the current offer on the vendor’s official pricing page before you create an account, and set a reminder before any trial turns into a paid plan.

If a vendor no longer lists a free plan or trial, treat that app’s section as out of date instead of hunting for the same offer on third-party sites. And whatever you install, use it only on devices you own or your own minor children’s devices. Monitoring another adult’s phone without consent is illegal in many places. For supported options, compare our best parental control apps, our EyeZy review and Snoopza review, and read the legality guide and how to use spy apps safely.
